Knuckleduster miniatures new 32mm Digital figures

These are a new range of figures by Knuckleduster Miniatures, digitally sculpted or should that be designed (not sure what the process is), but they are gorgeous however they're made. Advertised as 32mm but wouldn't look odd next to a lot of the 28mm figures on the market such as Great Escape Games - Dead man's Hand. They are beautifully detailed but unfortunately are not free of the usual casting problems such as mold lines and flash, but clean up fairly easy (although Billy Clanton had a mold line straight through his face, impossible to get rid of completely). What I really like about them is the dynamic posing of the figures, they really do look like they're about to move and I don't know how but the guns look like they've got some wait in them, the way the characters are holding them. Well I'll stick the photos up and you can see for yourself, cheers for looking.

Frostgrave

I picked up a copy of Frostgrave by Osprey publishing a couple of weeks back and I really like the look of it so I'm in the process of building a warband. Only painted one of the plastic soldiers so far but hopefully will get around to doing more soon.

Foundry work 2012

It's been a while since I posted anything, but I'm hoping to remedy that starting with some commission work I did for Foundry Miniatures back in 2012. I was very excited to be taken on as a painter, unfortunately it was to be short lived. It was tough luck to be given some work by them just when it seemed the company was going through some upheavals. No sooner had I been picked up, I was dropped, (with a few other painters so I'm to understand). I've never shown these before, as you get a letter from Foundry telling you not to unless you've had permission from them. But it's been a few years now so I think its OK. The photography is a bit rough on some (I've got better) so I do apologise.

Unfortunately the fork-like weapons the woman were fighting with were bent and broke when I received them. Tried to mend or reinforce them as best I could but still looked a bit crap.

Please excuse the blue-tack. I obviously couldn't glue them together as I needed to post them to Foundry. But you get the idea of how they should look.

And that was it. Like I said short but sweet.
